The Dodgers have long been considered one of the favorites to sign Japanese right-hander Roki Sasaki. They recently became the sixth team known to have an in-person gathering with Sasaki, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register.

The Yankees and Mets' interest in Japanese pitching phenom Roki Sasaki has reportedly attracted two more MLB suitors. The New York Mets and New York Yankees, perennial contenders with deep pockets, are reportedly both eyeing Japanese pitching sensation Roki Sasaki for a potential jump to the MLB in 2025.

Both the Yankees and Mets were given meetings with superstar Japanese pitcher Roki Sasaki but both surely understand they’re not the favorites here.
