A taxi plowed into multiple people after it hopped a curb at Herald Square in Manhattan, sending three pedestrians to the hospital, according to police and fire officials.

Three pedestrians, including a 9-year-old boy, were transported to the hospital after a taxi cab jumped the curb and struck several people on the sidewalk.

Six people were hurt, including a young boy, when a taxi hit pedestrians in New York City's Herald Square on Christmas Day.It happened at around 4 p.m. at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue, a crowded spot near Macy's.
