Squid Game season two has set an impressive new viewership record for Netflix. After becoming Netflix's biggest TV debut with 68 million views in just four days, the Korean drama has continued to soar, racking up another 58.2 million views during its first full week.

Squid Game season 2, though, is already one of Netflix's most popular shows ever, rocketing up to the second spot in the Non-English language all-time chart. It's behind Squid Game season 1 – but that might change over the next 80 days.

Squid Game season 3 doesn't have an official release date but Netflix has confirmed it will be out in 2025. Filming has already finished on the third season and show creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed in late 2024 they were working on post-production. This means we might be waiting a while into 2025 before new episodes are released.
