Capture the captured area in the Geolocation Tab as an Image
Dec 29, 2021 · I thought it would be a good idea, to use the road map in the Geolocation Tab as a vicinity map. I like how the captured area works like a viewport, but I would like to take the area I capture, and then take it to paper space as an OLE image for a vicinity map. Don’t want to mess with making viewports, attaching images and such.

Aug 11, 2015 · Just recently, Google integrated a measurement tool that allows us to do just that. All you need to do is right click on an area of the map and click “measure distance.” All you need to do from here is click on two points for the map to scale off a distance. In this case, the south exterior wall of Portland City Hall is approximately 120′.

I managed to stumble through once and get a query to determine the area of each soil closed poly line wiithin a closed drainage area poly line.

C3D 2015-2016 Geolocation Map Opacity - Autodesk Community
Jul 28, 2015 · It isn't a problem when working on different rail yard inside C3D, but I would like to change the opacity when it comes to capturing an area for printing. As it sits now, it makes it hard to read the CAD data with the map (when printed) and having the map on when printing is quite beneficial. Any help would be much appreciated.

Dec 19, 2016 · Coloring map by areas is simple then. Arrange your cases first, create layers by them (AREA 10000+, AREA 2000+ and so on), then use QSELECT -> PLINE-> AREA, e.q. >10000, put them into your layer AREA10000+ and turn the layer off. Then repeat it for 2000+, and so on. 10 minutes job 🙂

Feb 7, 2016 · Well, locate a GIS shape file for roadways that covers the area you want, import that Into Map3D, and then tweak as desired. Or, Import a PDF map of the area you need into vanilla, and then fix that up to look the way you want. Or even easier, use the Geomaps feature and capture a roadway image.
