Dewitt Enterprises, known as the “Home of the Secret Bookshop,” houses one of Colorado’s most unique collections of state history in Fountain. Bob DeWitt, a former software engineer, has been building his collection for decades and is known for seeking out obscure and unusual publications that would otherwise be lost to time. "Glitter and Gold" was the theme as the 82nd annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo parade returned Saturday, bringing horses, cowboys and cowgirls, floats and military units to downtown Colorado Springs. The parade promotes the upcoming Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, a Colorado Springs tradition started in 1937 by Spencer Penrose. Since 1946, proceeds from the rodeo have benefited local military families.
