When a kayaker was reported as being swept out to sea due conditions changing from mild to poor, Donaghadee Lifeboat rushed to rescue him whilst the Coastguard kept watch. Arriving on scene, we found the kayaker sheltering on North Rock – we were able to recover him to the safety of the lifeboat.
