We interrupt your Wednesday afternoon to share with you Rowan's first pets. After 8 days in WRS's care, Rowan allowed our volunteer to pet her for several minutes. She was relaxed and comfortable and we could not be more thrilled. She was rewarded with lots of treats and quiet praises. Both Rowan and Tony are also now walking on leashes (instead of having to be carried). We can't overstate how HUGE these milestones are. 💙 Foster Daisy Update 💙 This weekend, Daisy had a meet and greet with her potential adopter — the gentleman who hopes to move forward with her as his future ALS service dog. They spent quality time working together, handling her, and making sure there was connection, focus, and the beginning of a bond that is absolutely necessary for service work.
