The Ruta Del Sol gets underway for 2020 with a real test! The route is rolling for the first 30km but from then the road kicks up, cresting three 3rd category climbs before 100km into the stage, and then taking on a further few rolling hills before arriving at the base of the 1st category Puerto Las Palomas which is nearly 900m worth of elevation.
